To Make:

twist sts, and place marker (pm) after first st to denote beg of rnd.

Round 1:  K2, p1, repeat to end.  This forms rib pattern of cuff.

Cont. in this manner until cuff measures 3.5 inches.

Knit two rounds.

Next round: Knit to end (knit through back loop on yo's).
Next round: Knit.
**
Gusset Shaping: K6, pm, kfb, k1, kfb, pm, k to end.
Next Round: Knit

Repeat these last two rounds, increasing 2 sts every other round until 19 sts are between markers. (Remember, the
increases always occur on the stitch next to each marker).

Knit 1 round.

Place sts between markers on a st holder, turn work (so you are looking at the inside of the glove) and cast on 6 sts
with the cable cast on method, then k to end. (45 sts).

Knit 6 rows, or until glove measures 3" from top of eyelet holes.
Next round: K2, p1, repeat to end.
Cont. in this patt for 7 rows.

For regular finish cast of k sts k wise, and p sts p wise.

Optional Fancy Finish:  With size F (4mm) crochet hook c.o. 1 sts in the regular manner, *then create a crochet

For Bottom Edge: Crochet into first st (at tail), crochet into second sts, * create a chain of 3 sts, crochet 2 sts, and

Thumb: Place 19 sts from holder onto 2 needles, attach new yarn and k 19 sts, then p.u. knit 5 sts from body of
glove (24 sts).
Next: K2, p1 for 4 rounds.
Cast of  k sts knit wise, and p sts purl wise.

Right Hand
CO 42 sts using one size 5 dpn.  Divide sts evenly onto 3 needles.  Join for working in the rnd, being careful not to

Work as for left hand until **
Gusset Round: K33, pm, kfb, k1, kfb, pm
Complete rest of glove as given for Left hand (only the placement of the gusset has changed).

To Finish:

Sew in ends, fix any holes around thumb.

Cut a 24" piece of ribbon.  Starting on the topside of the glove (where you want bow to be placed) begin weaving
ribbon in and out of eyelets.  Tie bow allowing plenty of room for you hand.
Enjoy!
Love looking girly with a little satin bow, maybe a few ruffles?  But
still like to keep it edgy and chic?  Give these gloves a try, in a rich
purple (my own BlackGrape colorway) combined with the black bow
detail helps these cute gloves look totally 'Grown Up'!

Choose to either keep it simple with a regular cast on and bind of, of
fancy-it-up with a frilly crochet edging!
